Hapag-Lloyd will launch a Black Sea Feeder service connecting Egypt’s Port Said with ports on the Black Sea and in Israel and Turkey.
The fixed-day, weekly service will start in the beginning of October with the following port rotation: Port Said; Ashdod, Israel; Istanbul, Turkey; Constanta, Romania; Odessa, Ukraine; Istanbul; Ashdod; and Port Said.

The BSF service will be operated with two vessels with first sailings as follows: the Mozart, with an estimated time of shipping from Port Said on Oct. 3, and the Athena, with an ETS from Port Said on Oct. 10.
The new service complements the rotation changes of Loop 4 of the G6 Alliance, further catering to shipping requirements from North Europe to Egypt, Israel and Black Sea ports, and vice versa, the carrier said.
The container line has also announced that its GS1 service, Loop 1 connecting the U.S. Gulf Coast with South America’s east coast, will change its terminal operation at the Port of Santos in Brazil from the Santos Brazil Container Terminal to the Libra Terminal.
