IAG Cargo is expanding its operations in Asia Pacific with the introduction of an additional air freighter service into Hong Kong taking the number of freighter flights to the territory to six a week.
The additional flight will commence on a scheduled basis from 31 October out of London and support the two daily BA flights into the territory.
The additional flight will be serviced by a B747-8 freighter and will depart Hong Kong airport at 0605 on Saturday mornings. The flight to Hong Kong will stop in Frankfurt and will return to London via New Delhi.
With this additional freighter, IAG Cargo now provides the Hong Kong market with around 700 tonnes of freighter lift a week in addition to the established line flights which can provide about 200 tonnes per week in the belly-hold of passenger aircraft.
