HONG Kong Airlines announced the start of three weekly services between Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City from March 17.
The airline said it will deploy an all-economy class Airbus A320 aircraft on the route, which will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The new service to Ho Chi Minh City is complemented by the airlines' daily flight to Hanoi, bringing to a total of 10 weekly flights between Hong Kong and Vietnam.
Said Hong Kong Airlines commercial chief Li Dian Chun: "The new service marks an important milestone of our development in the Vietnamese market, where we operated our first flight to Hanoi in 2010."
The outgoing flight (HX534) leaves Hong Kong at 1220 (local time) and arrives at Ho Chi Minh City at 1335 (local time) every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The return flight (HX535), operating on the same three days leaves Ho Chi Minh City at 1500 (local time) and arrives in Hong Kong at 1830 (local time)
