Yang Ming looks to mega ships, to charter five 14,000-TEUers from Seaspan

TAIWAN's Yang Ming Marine Transport plans to charter five 14,000 TEU ships from Seaspan Corp, to be built by CSBC Corp the first Taiwanese yard to build a vessel larger than 10,000 TEU. The shipping line is expected to take delivery of the five ships between March and June 2016, reported SinoShip News. "The introduction of these 14,000-TEU vessels will mark the upgrade of the company's fleet," Yang Ming chairman Frank Lu told reporters.   Asian Shipper News
