‘K’ Line to change terminal operator in Vancouver

3/9/2007 9:32:09 AM

"K" LINE has struck a deal with DP World Vancouver to provide terminal and stevedoring services for "K" Line's PNW service that calls at the British Colombia port.

This change in terminal operator comes after DP World Vancouver recently upgraded its Centerm terminal. "K" Line will be the first new customer to call at Centerm after the terminal completed its major renovation and expansion.

"K" Line will inaugurate its service to Centerm on March 18, when the George Washington Bridge makes a stop at the Canadian port.

"K" Line operates five 5,500-TEU vessels on its PNW loop that calls at major ports in China, Japan and Canada.

The port rotation for PNW is: Xiamen, Hong Kong, Yantian, Shanghai, Nagoya, Tokyo, Tacoma, Vancouver, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kobe, and back to Xiamen.
