The Trans-Atlantic Conference Agreement on Tuesday announced that, based on the latest monitoring of fuel prices, its bunker adjustment factor will be held unchanged through June 15.
The charge for traffic to/from and via Atlantic and Gulf Coast ports is $395 per 20-foot container; $790 per 40-/45-ft. container, and $40 for all other freight.
For Pacific Coast ports, charges are $593 per 20- and $1,186 per 40-/45-ft. container. All other freight is charged at $59.
The group will raise its currency adjustment factor from eight to 10 percent, effective May 16 through June 15.
The ocean carriers in TACA are Atlantic Container Line; Maersk Line; Mediterranean Shipping Co.; NYK Line, and Orient Overseas Container Line.
