The National Shipping Co. of Saudi Arabia said it would begin service to and from the Port of Charleston from April 2.
NSCSA operates four combination vessels, which can accommodate containerized goods, breakbulk and self-propelled, towable commodities. The service already calls at six other ports on the North American East and Gulf coasts (New York, Baltimore, Houston, Savannah, Newport News and Halifax). On the other side of the Atlantic, the service calls at Jeddah, Jebel Ali, Jubail, Dammam, Port Qasim, Mumbai and Livorno.
