Qantas Freight commences Vietnam freighter service

Qantas Freight made it presence in Việt Nam since 2006 by Sovereign Global logistics Co. Ltd . as its General Sales and Services Agent (GSSA).   In addition to current passenger flights from Hồ Chí Minh City, Qantas Freight now expands its business by introducing a weekly direct freighter service from Hồ Chí Minh City to USD and China as of May 21, 2009. The Boeing 747-400F will be flown regulrly every Thursday, capable of accommodating 100 tons per flight.   The fastest service from Việt Nam to USA departs Hồ Chí Minh City late on Thursday night travelling via Shanghai (PVG) and arriving in New York (JFK) on Friday morning, and Chicago (ORD) very early on Saturday morning to ensure shipments will be ready for clearance and collection before weekend.   From major cargo hub for airfreight in China-Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Qantas Freight’s road feeder service (RFS) using customs bonded trucks serves 30 destinations in mainland.   VietnamShipper
