Finnair to begin flights to Israel

1/30/2013 10:50:36 AM

Finnair, Finland's largest airline, has announced its plan for new destinations and frequencies for the summer season.

The airline will begin operating direct flights between Helsinki and Tel Aviv, starting early June, offering twice weekly flights on Helsinki – Tel Aviv route, with Airbus A320 aircraft.

According to the plan, the flights to Israel will operate two weekly flights: From Tel Aviv on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and from Helsinki's Finavia airport on Mondays and Fridays.

The new route will enable Israelis to continue with the company's connecting flights from Helsinki to different destinations in Europe, as well as the Far East and North America.

The airline operates an extensive service to Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam as well as regular flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Hong Kong, Delhi, Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul, Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo and Hanoi. In addition, the company also flies to two cities in North America – New York and Toronto.
