Shanghai Pudong air cargo up 11pc in November to 129 million tonnes

SHANGHAI Pudong Air Cargo Terminal posted an 11 per cent year-on-year increase in November air cargo to 129.3 million tonnes, recording its best month after a solid 10 per cent gain in October to 118.8 million tonnes. November international volume was up 10.5 per cent to 120.7 million tonnes with inbound enjoying a 13.6 per cent increase to 43.9 million tonnes while outbound grew 8.9 per cent to 76.7 million tonnes. November inbound international air cargo volume saw a 13.4 per cent year-on-year increase to 47.8 million tonnes while outbound air freight rose 9.6 per cent to 81.5 million tonnes. November domestic air cargo movement was up 17 per cent to 8.6 million tonnes with inbound increasing 11.7 per cent to 3.8 million tonnes and outbound volumes coming in at 4.7 million tonnes, up 21 per cent.   Asian Shipper News
