China Southern Airlines’ debut CZ447 flight, a Boeing 747 freighter, took off from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport and headed for Chicago.
This is the second all-cargo route China Southern Airlines launched in Zhengzhou, shortly after the introduction of a Los Angeles-Zhengzhou-Guangzhou freighter route.
The inaugural flight was loaded mostly with Apple products.
This all-cargo flight operates every Wednesday and Saturday with a weekly capacity of more than 200 tonnes.
China Southern’s trucking and air-to-air network allows shipments to be distributed to more than 10 cities in the U.S. and 19 South American cities in Chile, Paraguay and Brazil.
