SYDNEY's global aviation industry analysis and consultancy service provider CAPA's statistics show that China recorded air freight volume of 468,000 tonnes in January, down 1.8 per cent year on year.
Domestic freight dropped 2.6 per cent to 355,000 tonnes. International cargo climbed one per cent to 114,000 tonnes. Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan cargo fell 3.3 per cent to 16,000 tonnes.
China moved 30.6 million's passenger by air in January, up 19.1 per cent. Domestic passengers increased 19 per cent to 28.3 million. International passenger traffic climbed 20.1 per cent to 2.3 million. Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan passengers numbers grew 17.7 per cent to 783,000.
