OOCL Adds Khalifa Call to China-Mideast Service

Abu Dhabi Terminals has signed a contract with Hong Kong-based container carrier OOCL to include a call at the Port of Khalifa on its China-Middle East Express (CMX) Service, a weekly intra-Asia loop. The first OOCL vessel calling Khalifa Port Container Terminal is currently scheduled to arrive on June 11. The CMX port rotation is Ningbo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Singapore, Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi, Sohar, Singapore, Nansha, Xiamen and back to Ningbo. Khalifa, which is designed to take over all container-handling operations from Mina Zayed port, began commercial operations in September last year. The Journal of Commerce
