New security procedures for Korean Air Import deliveries

Korean Airlines has implemented a world wide procedure to protect against unauthorised collection of import cargo In Australia, Australian Air Express (AaE) -Korean’s handling agent - now requires all drivers to produce a form of photographic identification which AaE will record on the delivery check list.

 

The identification can be an industry card, ASIC card, driver's licence or passport. This procedure will need to be completed prior to the commencement of delivery of the cargo. The new procedure came into effect today, 22 January.
