AA begins cargo service to Brazil, Italy, Colombia

American Airlines Cargo began offering wide-body cargo service from Miami to Milan, wide-body service from Miami to Curitiba, Brazil, and Porto Alegre, Brazil, and narrow-body service from Dallas/Fort Worth to Bogota, Colombia. American offers the only daily non-stop service between Miami and Milan-Malpensa. Fashion and automotive are expected to be the primary types of traffic in both directions. American is opening new stations in Curitiba and Porto Alegre to give customers more options to Brazil. At this time, American is only authorized to provide southbound cargo service. Electronics and consumer goods are expected to be the primary types of southbound traffic. American will also offer the only daily non-stop service between Dallas/Fort Worth and Bogota.
