THE Shenzhen's Yantian International Container Terminal (YICT) in southern China has commenced its direct shipping service SVG to Vietnam, reports Xinhua.
The SVG service is operated by China United Lines, offering a convenient freight shipping route to Vietnam for shippers in south China.
The once-weekly service originating in Yantian will call at Hong Kong only then direct to Haiphong. It will call in Yantian on Fridays.
The launch of the new service has satisfied the sustained transport growth demand between south China and Vietnam regions.
