US Lines (USL) will introduce a direct weekly call at Oakland on its Australia/New Zealand service, effective with the sailing of the USL Kea, which departs Oakland on April 24th.
The move is in response to customers’ requests for USL to expand its scope of coverage beyond the Port of Los Angeles.
Vessels will sail Oakland Southbound every Tuesday, proceeding to Los Angeles for a Friday Southbound departure to Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney, & Brisbane.
The one-day-later departure from Los Angeles on Friday will be well received by exporters seeking later cutoffs. Transit times throughout the network will remain the same.
