HK hosts terminal operations conference and exhibition

THE Terminal Operations Conference and Exhibition, TOC2007 Asia, described by organisers as the leading networking event of the year, is to be held in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 13-15. A statement issued by the organisers say the event brings together suppliers of terminal services, handling equipment, systems and software, enabling delegates and visitors to review the latest technology and benchmark their procurement strategies. TOC2007 Asia will also feature a specially-commissioned round table debate moderated by the CEO of Global Institute of Logistics (GIL), Kieran Ring. The official welcome address will be given by Eva Cheng, Hong Kong's Permanent Secretary for Economic Development. Asian Shipper News
