Vladivostok's new container terminal to be operational mid-2008

VLADIVOSTOK's container terminal, with an expected annual capacity of 100,000 TEU, should be functioning by the middle of 2008, according to its operator, Container Service of Vladivostok, a unit of LLC, Container Terminal of Vladivostok.   The Vladivostok Times reported that the Shanghai Port Machinery Co., has a US$15 million order to deliver two mooring container loaders and two storage loaders with carrying capacities of 50 tons each.   Asian Shipper News
