The CKYH Alliance (COSCON, K-Line, Yang Ming, Hanjin Shipping) has modified its PSW2, PSW4, PSW5 and Y-PNW services by adjusting the routings and calling port combination on the Trans-Pacific loops, and will also link the current K-PNW to the AES-2 to create a pendulum operation covering North America, Asia and North Europe.
Details of service structures are as follows, effective end-June 2008:
PSW2 (to adjust from 5,500 TEU vessels to 4,300 TEU vessels):
Hong Kong > Yantian > Kaohsiung > Keelung > Los Angeles > Oakland > Keelung > Kaohsiung > Hong Kong.
PSW4 (to combine with PSW5 by using 5,500TEU vessels):
Shanghai > Ningbo > Qingdao > Los Angeles > Oakland > Kwangyang >– Shanghai.
Y-PNW (to adjust calling ports and focus on Taiwan and central China markets):
Kaohsiung > Shanghai > Ningbo > Pusan > Tacoma > Vancouver > Kaohsiung.
K-PNW/AES2 (to link as pendulum service by using 13 x 5,500TEU vessels):
Kobe > Tokyo > Nagoya > Hong Kong > Singapore > Port Said > Rotterdam > Felixstowe > Le Havre > Port Said > Singapore > Hong Kong > Yantian > Xiamen > Nagoya > Tokyo > Tacoma > Vancouver > Portland > Kobe.
