COSCO raises EB transpac rates

COSCO Container Lines said it will attempt to raise rates on the eastbound transpacific from Jan. 1 in line with guidelines issued by the Transpacific Stabilization Agreement. The China-based line will seek increases of $320 per 20-foot container, $400 per 40-foot container, $450 per 40-foot high-cube container, and $506 per 45-foot container on shipments from all parts of Asia to the United States and Canada.    American Shipper
