TAIWAN's Evergreen is chartering three 13, 092 TEU containerships from COSCO to commence an Asia-US West Coast HTW/SEA service between themselves from May 17.
The service will call at: Xiamen, Hong Kong, Yantian, Long Beach/Los Angeles, Taipei, Xiamen.
The three other vessels used on the service that range in size from 10,092-13,092 TEU will be provided by COSCO, reported Alphaliner.
In a related development, Hanjin Shipping and Yang Ming will continue to take slots on the COSCO-'K' Line-Wan Hai SEA loop that is being merged with the COSCO-Evergreen loop.
Hanjin Shipping is to brand the new Calco-C/PSW 1 service as the "South China Pacific Express" (SCP) and will retain the SEA name for the new SEA/HTW service. 'K' Line will name the Calco-C/PSW 1 as the PS1.
