SINGAPORE's APL, the world's ninth largest carrier, recently announced it will revamp its transpacific service by using its AZX service to replace the current SZX loop in late May.
The last SZX loop will be served by 4,300-TEU President Truman, voyage 236, which is scheduled to arrive in Singapore on May 16 and in Colombo on May 21.
Meanwhile, the AZX service will have new estimated times of arrival (ETA) in Singapore, Colombo, Halifax, New York, Charleston, Savannah at Georgia and Norfolk.
The new AZX service will thus take longer sailing time to New York and has new calls at Charleston and Halifax.
