Hapag-Lloyd Adds Cotonou Call to West Africa Mediterranean Express

Hapag-Lloyd will add a fortnightly call at Cotonou, Benin, to its weekly West Africa Mediterranean Express service, starting in mid-May.   Hapag-Lloyd to add call at Benin to its WMX rotation. The WMX service’s new port rotation will be as follows: Algeciras, Spain; Lagos, Nigeria; Contonou; Abidjan, Ivory Coast; and back to Algeciras. The revised rotation will commence with the YK Sassandra, with an estimated sailing from Algeciras on May 18 and an estimated arrival at Cotonou on May 31, the container line said.
