Cargolux will add a third weekly frequency to Viracopos-Campinas International Airport/Brazil, starting on February 3, 2007.
The additional flight is operated on Saturdays at 10h40 from Luxembourg via Recife, with arrival in Viracopos-Campinas at 21h00 local time.
The flight departs Viracopos-Campinas at 23h30 to arrive in Petrolina at 01h00 on Sunday morning, leaving again at 02h30 to arrive in Luxembourg at 15h45.
Cargolux’s current flights are operated out of Luxembourg on Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons, with arrival in Viracopos-Campinas late-afternoon on Tuesdays and early-morning on Fridays, and connect with Cargolux’s Latacunga and Bogota flights, before returning to Luxembourg.
With this additional service, the company aims to meet the demand for increased capacity, in line with Brazil’s growing economy.
