Evergreen Marine Corp (Taiwan), Hatsu Marine, Italia Marittima and Evergreen Marine (Hong Kong) will adopt the unified common trade name Evergreen Line for international marketing, effective May 1st.
All four carriers are affiliates of the Evergreen Group (Taiwan).
Individual services provided by the four carriers will not be affected. Each carrier will continue to exist as independent companies.
According to the Evergreen Line Committee, which comprises management representatives from the four carriers, the move is a direct response to the expectations of Evergreen’s global customers, and will result in numerous operating benefits.
From May 1st, the four carriers will issue a unified bill of lading title as Evergreen Line.
An Evergreen Line website www.evergreen-line.com has been in effect since April 1st.
Also effective May 1st, Hatsu Marine, Evergreen’s UK-flagged ocean carrier, will be renamed Evergreen Marine (UK).
