Evergreen, Cosco offer peak season Straits-Red Sea service

EVERGREEN and Cosco will launch a Straits-Red Sea Shuttle service from the middle of May to complement their existing joint Far East and the Red Sea service by providing needed extra capacity over important hubs such as Singapore and the Port of Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia during the peak season. Each carrier will commit two ships of 1,200 TEU to the fixed-day weekly service. The service is expected to commence with the sailing of a Cosco vessel from Singapore. Ports of call on the 28-day rotation will be: Singapore, Port of Tanjung Pelepas, Jeddah, Port Sudan, Hodeidah and Singapore. Asian Shipper News
