Yusen Logistics Begins Malaysia-US LCL Service

Yusen Logistics is launching a less-than-containerload service from Malaysia to the United States, in conjunction with TASCO, an NYK Group company based in Malaysia.   The weekly service links Port Klang to Los Angeles and Oakland via Yantian, China. The direct service arrives in Los Angeles 19 days after it departs Port Klang, the Japanese forwarder said, shaving approximately 10 days off the time required for traditional multicountry consolidation services from Malaysia.   The Journal of Commerce Online
