Hapag-Lloyd said the rotation of the U.S. Gulf - South America East Coast Loop 1 (GS1) service is being revised.

Starting with the voyage of the ship Suape Express (1316N), the GS1 will replace the northbound call of Caucedo, Dominican Republic with Cartagena, Colombia. The first call in Cartagena will be on June 10.

The southbound call of Caucedo will continue.

The revised GS1 port rotation will be Veracruz, Altamira, Houston, New Orleans, Caucedo, Suape, Santos, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio Grande, Itajai, Santos, Rio De Janeiro, Cartagena, and Veracruz.

The service uses eight vessels with average capacity of 5,550 TEUs. Five are supplied by Hapag-Lloyd and three by CSAV, according to Bluewater Reporting. Other carriers that have space on the ships include Hamburg Süd, Libra-Montemar, Maersk, and NYK.
