Yusen Logistics is adding a weekly service from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to Los Angeles to its LCL network.
The service features weekly sailings from Ho Chi Minh City and 18-day transit times to Los Angeles, the logistics provider said. In the U.S., the company also offers domestic transportation services.
“Over the past 12 months, we have opened 51 new direct LCL services, including eight direct Asia-to-U.S. lanes,” said Joseph Goldman, director of operations at Yusen Logistics, in a written statement. “This is part of our long-term freight forwarding strategy that also includes strengthening our air freight product and our domestic network. We are planning to grow our direct LCL product an additional 20 percent this year, with a focus on developing our trans-Atlantic capabilities while continuing to grow in trans-Pacific market.”
