Singapore port up 6.6pc in July to 3 million TEU, HK down 3pc

SINGAPORE's Maritime and Port Authority reported a 6.6 per cent increase in container movement in July, having handled three million TEU compared to 2.77 million TEU in July last year. Figures from the Hong Kong Marine Department show the port handled 1.93 million TEU in July, representing a year-on-year decline of 3.7 per cent from two million TEU in July last year.  Asian Shipper News
