Changi Airport August cargo volume flat, slips 0.5pc to 151,000 tonnes

CHANGI AIRPORT's August air freight volume slipped 0.5 per cent year on year to 151,000 tonnes against 1.85 million tonnes flown for over the previous 12 months. August traffic movements totalled 29,600 landings and take-offs, an 8.2 per cent year on year increase. During the year, aircraft movements grew 5.2 per cent to 336,100 with passenger traffic up 6.6 per cent to 53 million passengers. Asian Shipper News
